Peculiarities of reporting in Poland

Poland

All companies incorporated in Poland must submit financial statements to the Tax Office (Urząd Skarbowy) and the Commercial Register (Krajowy Rejestr Sądowy) on an annual basis.

– Financial statements in Poland are prepared in accordance with domestic accounting standards (which are quite close to International Financial Reporting Standards), in Polish, and consist of an income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, statement of equity and notes to the financial statements.

– If a company has no turnover, it still has to file a tax return.

– The statements are signed by the company’s director.

The CIT-8 declaration and annual financial report are submitted to the tax office by 31 March each year, and to the Companies Register by 30 June of the year following the reporting year.
